I just updated Windows 7 and Office 2010 without noticeable problems.

Updated my version 1809, now on build 17763.134

Cumulative KB4467708 downloaded, installed, and failed at speed... then immediately did it again and succeeded. Didn't take long.

Went in alongside Flash and MSRT updates.

    No problems after requested reboot.

    Now this is "spooky."

To begin with, the download was fast and mine included multiple Office Pro 2010 updates. The install after download was also fast.

Now for the "spooky" part. After the required restart, it took at most 2 mins. to install prior to final installation reboot. I have never seen a Win 10 cumulative update complete anywhere close to this time. And I did verify after reboot everything downloaded was installed.

This also partially confirms my recent suspicions that Microsoft has been pushing Win 10 system update downloads at the cold boot daily Win Update check and download. At least partial update installations. I base this on the high MB download counts I have been observing in the last couple of weeks.

Why is "my gut" telling me we are all secretly and gradually being updated to 1809 ……….

I found that I still don't get any cumulative updates, like three month ago... Are they somehow differently 'disseminated'? :p Could it be actual hardware incompatibility, or feared one? They work if I download them myself.
I want them they look shiny... :(

I downloaded the 1809 ISO in early October and upgraded. No issues.

I downloaded the new ISO today and upgraded. No issues. It was worthwhile as I gained 1 GB of free space in the OS partition.

1809 still isn't offered to one machine here. That machine had trouble upgrading to 1803 too, so it may end compatibility before too long.

What version/build number did you end up with?

Did Windows Update install anything after that upgrade?

Same here. I noticed it also happened with the cumulative update KB4464330 last month. Though it never been occurring before the Win 10 Fall upgrade.

Installed it a VM: Windows 10 1809 (OS Build 17763.107)

I think that's lower than what I currently have installed (original Windows 10 October update + updates).

There's still a bunch of EventID 1534 warnings pertaining to TDL (TileDataLayer), a removed service responsible for updating tiles on the Start Menu. The warnings should appear in Event Logs (Administrative Events) each time you start Task Manager.
They did not clean that up.

    I'm already on that level.

Wonder wether it makes sense to do an in-place upgrade (downgrade actually) to get the latest files.

And it saved you 1 GB?

    No. Those are for 1803.
You need this one, but after you update to 1809.

    Yes, I know. I don't have 1809 and I think I'll wait a little longer. :)
What are those Delta updates? :/

EDIT: Also there are like 20 security updates in this month... is this right? Did I not get any of them?

Is there a tool that scans you computer for updates you don't have? I know there was one for XP, but for Win 10?

As far as I know, the Deltas contain updates for the current month, while Cumulative contain all updates (since the last cumulative).

    [EDIT] Explained here.

Out of curiosity Brian, what made you download the new 1809 ISO if you had no issues with the October one?

They are all contained in a single cumulative update.
    You did not apparently -
    This is not right.
I am not aware of one.

    Yesterday, I installed KB4467107, November 13, 2018, Monthly Rollup for Windows 7,
    MSRT KB890830,
and also KB4467240, November 2018 Security and Quality Rollup update for .NET Framework for Windows 7, that was offered as optional, unchecked, but 'recommended'.
All is well, no issues, so far.
