Far from it. The SUMo thread for example goes back to 2011.

What about "What is your security setup" thread? It's from 2005, nearing 40.000 posts :)

The general consensus that stands out most from reading multiple articles of high level admins and such who been at their post for years is... Microsoft needs bring back their Quality Control Team Dept. and forego continuing to discourage/frustrate businesses customers that consumers (telemetry) and a handful of inside noobs do the testing. Obviously it's bordering on malicious rather than incompetent when a company does this routinely.

But if they don't lay off all of the skilled workers then the shareholders will make less money...

People on Win10 should download the feedback hub metro app, you will have some good laugh sometimes...

Was under a long held impression they were always fairly flush with plenty of profit financials. Guess that wasn't always the case after all.

They surely must be up for a change in how they process these type updates/upgrades now that all the negative horns are blowing. I continue to support that they should have used as a series a Window 9 to maneuver this what's turned into a minefield and at the end of the tunnel would have, could have produced for them and everyone else a clean orderly new Windows 10 by now instead of a lot of headwinds.

I am reminded of a French truism that paraphrased in English is "The more things change, the more they stay the same." Add another English truism "Talk is cheap" and I think this sums up this "new and improved" initative.

Microsoft "improvements" are a fabrication of their never ending propaganda machine on how great Microsoft products are. Unfortunately, it appears quite a few are falling for their "phony baloney."

I consider myself pretty tolerant when Microsoft is concerned (maybe just because everyone bashes them) but this now starts too look really incompetent.
Where is the updated/fixed build of 1809 already? Three freakin weeks have passed. In short release cycles this is huge amount of time to fix glitches. Will we wait till the April? Where are the info articles at least?
    Nada?

[EDIT] The net is littered with bug reports, I can't find any meaningful info.

Yeah, well .... 'silly' is so subjective. I nearly called it 'Microsoft's Malicious, Machiavellian, Mangled Updates: Anyone up the proverbial smelly creek without a rowing implement yet?'

Then I changed to running Ubuntu.

That would actually be better as it has "Microsoft" as a keyword. But I guess you have "Tuesday" here so from that aspect it's ok.
That's the attitude that should be applied more.

It didn't all fit in the text box anyway lol.

The release of Win 8 made the decision rather easy. I've never regretted it.
