Well, it's been 10 years since I've done anything with Linux except a couple of websites hosted on Linux servers. After reading about them a bit, I got a Raspberry Pi. I got it going this morning. I have to say this is a pretty neat device. I don't like using Linux on laptops but a dedicated device the size of a cell phone is a different animal. No real issues, I still remember the basic shell commands and Raspian is pretty easy. Most of the work in getting it set up was getting the right HDMI resolution for my monitor.

Main plan for it right now is to set up a web server on my local network to test a few things out, mainly PHP, without having to use shared hosting and upload it over a slow connection. I might try a few other things as well.
