I made a bootable rescue media on a computer (XP SP2). Can I use this disk on an other computer with a same OS ?
And with an other OS (for example a XP SP1) ?

The Rescue Media is a modified Linux system running from a CD. It is independent from the system where it was made on.

    Hello armelle,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

TonioRoffo is correct. Acronis bootable media is a bootable image based on Linux operating system. It contains drivers to restore the Acronis image from devices that do not have direct BIOS support, such as SCSI controllers, RAID Devices, tapes, external USB storage and LAN cards. And you can use it on an other computer.

    Thank you.
