Boot Windows XP from USB

    I found this and think it's pretty cool. Have searched to see if someone had mentioned it, via wilders and google, nada.

    My experience with xp and usb is dismal. Mainly because of 2 reasons. First, is that many motherboards a generation or two ago don't all support usb the same. So there is some inconsistency there. Second, usb xp install or running a live version (not including Bart) is very touchy. I did get to install xp from usb, and even had a boot image that ran xp in ram. However, it is not as configurable as an unattended dvd, so I dropped it and went back to my dvd's. Usb is faster, but for tweakers, it is not the same. IMO anyway.

    Bootland and MSFN both have very good info for usb booting/installing.
