    Hi.

I have Windows 8.1 installed and have been trying to decide the best Paragon backup option to use.
Something that will help me decide is which Media Builder is supported in each application.

Do all the Paragon backup applications support both Boot Media Builder and Recovery Media Builder?
And which is the best one to use?

AFAIK, Boot MB and Recovery MB are available for all Paragon programs except the free ones (which I haven´t used). It´s easier to use RMB, but it has limitations:

If used in a Windows 7 computer, the resulting WinPE doesn´s have USB 3.0 drivers.
You can´t add drivers during the process to create the WinPE.
If used in Windows 8.1, you can´t create an ISO file.

The HDM 14 Linux boot medium is very good and very easy to create. It´s a good choice if it works in your hardware.

    Thanks Robin.
It appears that Boot Media Builder may be the better option then.

Also interesting is that you can't create an ISO image to burn in Windows 8.1 with Recovery Media Builder.
