    On my first hd sata (hd1) there is one windows xp pro partition
    On my second hd ide (hd2) there was another windows xp partition.
    I' d like using a third bootable windows xp installation, so with DDS9 I resized hd2 partition, created new one and copied as primary first hd2 winxp partition on the newer. Then I modified boot.ini file on hd2.
    I installed OS Selector to manage these three windows xp installation. What is the right configuration to obtain three booting windows being sure to have always "starting windows" root disk on drive C: ?
    (In attachments there is my report.txt file)

    Hello proceno72,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

    Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

    Please be aware that drive letters are assigned to partitions of hard drives by an operating system. So if you want to have a drive letter of a partition where you boot Windows from to be C: then you should hide all other partitions which contain other copies of the operating system.

    You can obtain the configuration you have mentioned by doing the following:
    - Please run Acronis OS Selector;
    Please do the following for every copy of operating system:
    - Right-click on the operating system shortcut and choose Properties;
    - Select Partition section;
    - Hide all the partitions which contain other copies of operating system.

    Thank you.
