so how often will the Auto sandbox popup and ask the user for input?

I mean with a 60 and 70 year old people want to be bothered by that or is it bad to set the sandbox to auto instead of ask?

Where is/what is this "sidebar"? I'm running the beta still (waiting on final to come through the update server), and I've never seen a "gadget". The "Like Avast" button made me look twice..we're not letting Facebook invade here too, are we?

v6 is running very well for me, but i found a couple errors in the UI in the final version.

 

I have autosandbox enabled and set to ask ,however i notice that ctfmon.exe is showing running in the sandbox but i didnt get any pop up to ask.

if you are running version 5 you can update right to the version 6

 

Couldn't register the free license. Very unstable for me.

 

Actually ctfmon.exe is related to languages and is sandboxed because of the SafeZone. I assume you're using Pro or IS right?

 

Sorry for the troubles. The servers are currently being hammered by high load and we're acitivating our backup capacity.

Is it just the registration that didn't work for you, or also anything in the program itself?

It must be hard considering if even just 1/4 of all avast! users are trying to access their page at once. I can't get to avast! page for hours now

Is SafeZone supposed to block clipboard logging? I can still capture clipboard with 6.0.1000.

Also, the new Additional Protection tab is not yet translated in Pirate Talk

I am not sure if this is right time for suggestion in v6. But here is one regarding Webrep --

I came across a malicious link (fake scanner page) whose webrep rating is safe(green color) but its correctly blocked by Network sheild as expected.

So, i think it would be better to implement some mechanism which makes sure that webrep ratings and network sheild blocklist are in sync..
