I am currently debating whether or not I should allow BOClean to "Monitor system continuously"(10-sec. intervals) or monitor once every start up. FYI, in the meantime, I have chosen the former. My current security setup includes the following:

    Resident:

    BOClean
    Look'n'Stop
    Netgear RP614 v2 w/NAT & SPI
    NOD32
    Online Armor
    RegRun Gold

    On-Demand:

    Counterspy
    Ewido(free)
    UnHackMe

    System Hardening:

    Disabled most WinXP SP2 services.
    Harden-It
    Samurai
    Windows Worms Door Cleaner

Any comments or opinions would be greatly appreciated regarding this matter.

I have it set to monitor system continuously, because that's the optimum setting. Catch it right away! Online Armor should alert you to new executables, so it's possibly not imperetive. Having said that, i like the idea of catching something sooner rather than later. :) In this day and age it's better to have your security apps running at optimum setting. IMHO

Thanks muf for your input. I am leaning toward allowing BOC monitor my system continuously.
