Hmmm, how's this for a Security Suite? NOD's AMON coupled with BoClean for real-time, and KAV for on-demand? Hey, it's possible to dream, isn't?

Exactly. It's clear that a dominate commercial theme over the past year is feature extension in the major product areas based on what's being developed and embraced within the entire core market. Look at it, Antispyware in Outpost Pro Firewall; AntiSpyware/AntiSpam/Proactive Defense in the latest Kaspersky suite; all AV's now providing adequate coverage against Adware/Spyware/Trojans; the list goes on. At some point, the valued features in products like Online Armor/SafenSecure/etc. will be incorporated in suites.

When most people buy a security product, they want to be secure against threats in the general sense, not some specific subset of threats. It does come down to how well all this is implemented, and I am sure that there will be survivors in the niche markets either for legacy machines or users like many of ourselves who like to tailor our solutions to optimize either performance, customizability, or localization.
