    Hi maddawgz :)

    It's ok.

U can see now how much Boclean is respected along with it's creator, Kevin McAleavey.

Boclean is one of the best apps. i have ever purchased. :)

:D thats ok I'm learning new stuffs about boclean

seems to me it working great on xp with service pack 2

dosent seem to be any hang

but there is a few problems

    1. no reanable disable boclean on start up
2.the hide icon on system tray is a bad software codeing

if you select hide boclean icon on tray you may never be able to reconfig it to your likeing algain sucks there should be a reanable disable not a permanent disable and thats the problem with boclean seems like things are permanent

3.when i select run disable boclean on msconfig all traces of boclean autostart is gone meaning i cant turn it back on

4.finally un-install isn't clean boclean leaves a few pices of it self lying around meaning reinstall can be a headache

but here is the thing you have to understand

when you get boclean its already configured correctly right out of the box

honestly theres no need to screw around with anything its good to go on install

these problems I'm talking about only happened if you screw around with it.

so is it good software yup

    is it newbie friendly yup

but it needs to be revamped

Dear Nancy & Kevin the following needs to be revamped for a new version Boclean v4.12

    1.full 100 percent clean un-install
2.Nothing is permanent the user should be able to enable and reanable anything with a check box including start up and hide icon

3.for newbies an option to have the exclude or disclude box on or off
most newbies have problems with what to allow or disallow

after review of your product i would recommend it but these changes really should be looked at seriously

then in my eyes id say after changes take place in v4.12 it perfect

    just my opinion

It is difficult at times to post without seeing a face that shows expression. The little smilies and post icons help, but it is not the same as a face to face interchange of ideas and communication......(FUD etc.) And because I have not or do not recall seeing any of your posts, perhaps I acted a bit in hast. Please except my apology.

What I'm attempting to say poorly, (see what I mean) is your apology is excepted by me ;) I would say that you did start a bit of a discussion. One thing you can tell is my passion for Bo. BoClean=Trojan Defense. We surely do agree this is a great board. :)

    Hi Blaze

All you have to do is delete boc411.ini in your Windows Folder, reboot and you will have the Icon back and a new boc411.ini file.
