Block Driver License info

    Thought I would post this link on blocking your Driver License information. I would think that Florida is not the only state to offer this by internet. So find your states and see if you can block yours.

    What LOKI is taking about is newly passed de-regulation that allows for states to place DL databases ONLINE! Some plan to charge a fee, some plan to offer the info to third parties, some will offer the info for the taking. The Florida link is the first I have seen. Basically, if you have a license number you have everything! Name, address, phone, all kinds of things that will increase identity theft.

    The administration actually justified this by calling DL numbers "of importance to the free market." So, what isn't for sale anymoreo_O

    Good post, LOKI. First link I've seen to an operating DL database site.
