Darren, just to clarify, BlackFog getting disabled is a different and separate issue to it not showing notifications. BF has been getting disabled for quite a while now.

    Cheers.

no there is no option to cancel as I said, from android I tried desktop site option too, as Darren W. said:

so you must contact support, but support is not responding so far

there should be a dashboard that enables you to manage licenses, cancel licences , uninstall install licences, and so on (like adguard has)

I contacted support a couple of days ago (3-4 days) , hopefully sb will respond

I had this issue and I bought myself a newer android version with new phone and it works there, unless you reboot android it stays up all the time! I believe a watchdog to reactivate BF for pc and other systems is not a bad idea (like adguard has)
still I remember there is an issue on older android, my GF has older system and blackfog disables itself so I uninstalled there and not going back, it was incredibly annoying

@Darren Williams nevermind I can see pending cancellation on the website so I guess something has been done

    I will re-buy in a different configuration/option as I don't need such licences anymore

    best regards

as "UDP, FTP, RDP, SSL and NetBIOS are being used for lateral communications and exfiltration of data" I wonder how the communication is monitored by BF, especially since it does not monitor UDP but TCP
secondly, a VPN is not monitored too as well, malware may try to set up some proxy or VPN so this kind of traffic would be not seen by BF

third, still have problem with adlice's ucheck and blackfog and double extensions:

Attempted execution of file with illegal extension: as_3ee.tmp.exe

I have this double extension file nsg59a6.tmp.exe, too. If i wipe temp folders that file will appear again after reboot with different name.
    Is that a virus?

    @lucd,
not using this software, blackfog support claim that hp updates blamed for blocked executions of double extensions. Could this be true?

Nothing wrong with the software itself, but these "basic" protection updates, something like double extension protection and stuff like that should be in the core. I would like to see pre-emptive protection scheme, not like that "we fixed". This software is good in some ways, but it always goes behind. There's no AI etc protections, which is sad. I cannot see anything that this software brings anything for my security layer.

BlackFog’s anti data exfiltration (ADX) technology filters network traffic in real-time to effectively stop cyberattacks before they happen. Using advanced AI-based algorithms, BlackFog prevents unauthorized data exfiltration from a device and network. The solution focuses on protecting trade secrets, personally identifiable information, data theft and extortion.

So after the money, no where on subscription page to cancel auto-pay.
Received an email today a 73$ will be taken out in 7 days, good luck with that.

Were you using a VPN when you went there? Maybe try without a VPN.
