    I am happy to post some screenshots of the Android UI if you like tomorrow.

    PS we pulled the update installer to checkout the issue Krusty had with update as it should not require an uninstall. The update will be identical tomorrow, but with a new updater.

    NVT ERP (3) alerted me to an attempted BFP update overnight, which I allowed, but I see I am still on 3.6.0.

    So +1, :thumb:.

    Oh OK :). I was referring to the updated Windows 3.6.1 installer.

    BFP 3.6.1

    When I click "Check for Update" I'm seeing this:

    BFP Check for Updates.PNG

    Is that because 3.6.1 has been pulled? Should I uninstall and reinstall 3.6.0?

    Thanks.

    Thats correct until we replace the update. It turns out the installer has a bug we need to work around for upgrades. If you are installed already then it is working fine.

    Great. Yes on some systems it can also update the C runtime from Microsoft which has some important fixes for all apps.

    Android Screen shots attached. As you can see this has the same features as Windows (minus Forensic Scan). We will have a slightly reduced version on the Google Play Store due restrictions regarding Ad Blocking. The full version will be available on the web site once released.

    Darren, how would I activate the Android version without the email on that device to copy and paste the activation code? Type it manually?

    Thanks.

    Exactly what the team is working on right now actually. It will be some sort of activation code that will pickup and apply your license for you. I haven't seen what they have done yet, but I am told its close.

    @Darren Williams

    Thanks for the android screen shots.

    If I purchase the desktop version will its license covers the android version as well or I need to purchase the android license separately?

    Thanks

    All licenses will work on all versions NiteRanger. We are just figuring out the best way to have it applied.

    Just a request

    Can add a feature to remove those GDPR cookie pop-up messages on websites?

    There's an extension 'I don't care about cookies' for Chrome/FF that can remove them. Kiwi browser also can remove them by default.

    Since installation of v3.6.1, Install Mode is acting unpredictably, on my machine anyway ...

    Once noticed taskbar icon stayed red even though Install Mode was off, on another occasion the mode changed to off shortly after turning it on ... haven't detected a pattern yet.

    Good feature request. You are not the first one either, so very likely.

    Re the install mode, we didn't actually change anything code wise there so thats is a bit odd. I will get the guys to run the test suite over it again.

    Maybe it was a transient issue, or I was dreaming :rolleyes:.

    Yes it looks good this side. So perhaps it was a DLL that never reloaded. A reboot should bring everything back to normal in that case. Let me know if it happens again.

    Hi Darren,

    Looking into your product here and will look at it more tomorrow. Do you offer a trial? Any discounts for Wilders members by chance?

    Thank you.

    Forgive me if this has been asked, but is BFP similar to Hitman Pro Alert?

    No, they are very different programs and work differently, even though they both can help protect machines from ransomware.

    @Darren Williams ,

    I'd also be interested in knowing if a discount was available for a second year to Wilders' members? I missed the discount for the first year as the offer had expired.

    How's the Android version going?

    Thanks.
