did anyone try it? is it as good as Nav or pc-cillin?
is its free dos scanner as good as f-prot's
I would stick with f-prot. Its much better in terms of detection rate and engine stability.
Read the latest article on BitDefender, and see if BD fits your needs!
Quite good AV but there are better ones!
Bitdefender has nice free cleaning tools but the antivirus software they sell is not very impressiv. So as Technodrome said there are better solutions out there (even better than NAV or PC-Cillin).
For free anti virus scanners F-Prot for DOS is IMHO still the best.
Oh gracious WIZ...
Verily I should like to give F-Prot for DOS a trial run.
How does one go about virus-scanning WinME files from a DOS prompt?
I don't own a pocket protector or a slide rule. Please talk down to me. The downer the better.
Check this site out! F-prot dos guide
Plus Art Kopp has started up his Updater again,a perfect addition to F-Prot http://home.epix.net/~artnpeg/updaters.html
