Bitdefender Antivirus Free - English GUI

There might be something behind the scenes but nothing that I've come across. I'm hoping that the newest version comes out and fixes a few things.

BD Free is probably the best free antivirus I've tried, but I don't understand why it is taking almost a year to release the new version.

Mine updated. Wonder if it includes the long-awaited restore from quarantine feature? I noticed they consolidated the logs to Events and Threat Control. Pending Actions is gone.

I tried looking for any info but got same results as 7anon. It's weird that even Softpedia hasn't updated info.

on topic: I noticed with this new version is that once it updates the virus database it will then do a quick sweep cycle. Is this one of the new features implemented?

 

I hope they don't consider it an 'improvement'. I don't need this feature.

 

Yeah.. when I used it, there were far too many scans going on daily already. Total overkill IMO..
