Bitdefender Antivirus Free - English GUI

Using this combo with CIS using the Firewall and Auto sandbox fully virtualized. Runs great and might be the new setup on all my machines.

Another bug is when I scan a folder or file and after it has completed, it will say an on demand scan is still ongoing in the events section and I can't clear it.

 

Hasn't updated within the last 5 hours.

 

After reinstalling (version 1047) the LOGS button is working for me now!

Edit: After restarting the computer the LOGS button doesn't work any more. I can't believe it, please fix it Bitdefender.

 

Yep, this is exactly what happens to me also. Install BD, Logs works fine, after reboot, Logs broken again. And it never comes back.. Yeah, they need to fix it. How complicated can a GUI button be?

 

Let's send a programmer to Romania. Rejzor, if you have a free minute ...

 

I used to be a programmer in the old days gone by, and believe me, this stuff is ridiculous....

 

Last virus signatures were updated at 2:38 p.m. yesterday.

 

I think the auto updates are broken.

 

Might just be a problem on their end (servers etc). This happens occasionally with various AVs. Wait a bit longer and see what happens...

 

Is it possible that it has updated but just isn't showing?

 

Anything's possible.. but why would it do that all of a sudden? I think it's more likely that there just haven't been any updates. But who knows, really....

Logs button is snappier and seems to be fixed.

 

New version Logs button is still not working correctly...at least for me. Darn it. Well, maybe someday they'll finally fix it.

I think that some of the negative comments, sarcasms and so on are actually quite useful and serve as public service announcements for those who are new to the product and might otherwise get suckered into something which in all honesty, is fairly lacking in almost every regard...

 

it seems to be resolved now ! more tests are necessary of course.

Ok, it stopped working, lol, but closing the tray and opening again fixes the Logs button.
