My o my. Is it just me, or why does bitdefender take about 2 hours to download ?
I realize it's an almost 9 MB app., but the last time I had a download take so long was when I still had my Win98 pc.

Not really complaining, but I think I have to postpone my planned chinese-dinner Out for next
    weekend, lol.

    (Still 1 h and 35 mins to go...........:p  )

    Nat,

I found the update servers are very slow to :( . Just downloaded 7.2 free again today to test the speed... a pathetic 30kb/sec .

I hope they improve this soon!

Maybe someone can upload it or something...do you have an email ID, I have BitDefender downloaded, I banged my head to do it! Maybe I can email you the file, your email servers will probably be better than the BitDefender server...

    Hey there .....,

I had to get my binoculars out to count the dots in your name. :D (just joking)

Maybe we just picked the wrong time ?

I agree...hopefully it'll be faster soon. Especially for others that want to download next.

Nat, I sure hope you got a good download manager, I see your on dialup...hope you dont suffer disconnections..Better have a nice download manager, will keep your download from beginning all over again when an accidental disconnection happens.

No, no download manager here. So far I was always lucky.
But then again, never had to deal with a 5 hour download either. :D

Two days ago I was downloading Painkiller patch which took me 9 hours and after finishing it said file was corrupt...Darn it!

(Don't worry that wont happen to you....I hope:))

Lets all pray for the best. But next time, use a manager, I'd recommend LeechGet available at www.leechget.net

Its light, does not come with adware/spyware and is effective...what else do ya need?

Might as well sing the christmas carols while your downloading....You see, I'm on dialup too;)
