Finally BD has a GUI after many years of ... :)

If the installer is to big then maybe you need to upgrade :)
If it s to slow then maybe you should run Windows 7 on new hardware.
    Upgrade people ,we already have SATA 3 ,USB 3 ,Battlefield 3 ,etc.It s 2011.

Then stop smoking and drinking coffe and you will have the money to buy a cheap X4 P2 AMD based system at the end of the year.

And BD 2012 is a payed antivirus ,if you don t have the money to buy the license how would you use it ?! :)
It s like the story with the fox and the grapes ,no offence :)

And the upgrade suggestion is not for running BD of course :)

GUI-wise it looks to me like they have taken a leaf out of Kaspersky's book as there are similarities with the KIS2012 GUI (that is due for release shortly); the main panel mainly in terms of approach to how it works ...IMHO. I know that Kaspersky have change their GUI infrastructure...but cannot remember what they are now writing it in, and I am wondering if BD are using the same?

The GUI looks a little similar to some chinese antivirus i ve installed 2 years ago.Something with a lion ,don t remember the name. And resembles to Norton as well.
I wonder if they tweaked the resources this new interface uses. :) I doubt.

When you got elderly people around you that have been smoking their whole life, and you see what damages the smoke have done. I can assure you, you will change side when it comes to smoking.
No matter if it is Cigs, Drugs what ever, in the end they are all the same!

I know you were JK Kernelwars, but I wanted to say this anyway :)

Now this was my last post when it comes to smoking!!!

Regarding the BETA since that is what this thread is about.
I took it for a spinn, but it was too heavy for my taste wich I expected though.
If they only could make it lighter it would be a great product I think.

Weed = wasted brain cells. If i m not mistaking all heroine and cocaine consumers start with weed ?!

You should seriously analyze and see how much money we waste on unnecessary stuff like tabacco ,booze and coffe. You may be surprized on how much money we waste when we make a habit of them.
With the money you save on this things you can buy a new PC quite fast (or upgrade to more RAM or new HDD), so stop complaining that you don t have the money to upgrade.:)
I m 100% sure that if your PC brakes you will find a way to get a new one in a matter of days :)

I ve seen people that smoke tabacco daily going over 80 years old .Never saw someone that smokes weed daily going over that age though :)

You re in more danger to make lung cancer because of the polluted air you breath than from smoking tabacco .This in case a colon cancer doesn t take you down faster :)

Let s just talk about the new BD 2012 beta ,as no one really cares about someones else money or outdated PC.
The interface is not original ,but it finally looks like and interface for a commercial product.
Even if it feels heavy now it may be better after few months of tweaking.

Yes it still is me thinks.
You need to ask BitDefender about that.

But I doubt that they will fix it, if they wanted to fix it they should have done so long time ago.

    quote;

Mortality: One can not actually die of cannabis from an overdose. Or yes, in theory, so one can, but in practice it is an impossibility. You have to smoke / eat huge amounts, the risk is much greater that you die of carbon monoxide poisoning / anoxia or stomach rupture than THC: n toxicity causing death. The table below indicates the distance between active: lethal dose, ie dose you need to feel the effect, in relation to the dose of dying. The research is performed on mice, as mortality studies in humans have never occurred. Here is a calculation of how much cannabis that would be needed to kill. 0.1 g of the active dose, and not less than 4000g for a lethal dose.

    Topic Active dose: Lethal dose
    Alcohol 1:4 - 1:20
    Headache Tablets 1:50
    Caffeine 1:100
    Cannabis 1:20000 - 1:40000

Will probably be quite a hassle to take an overdose, I think
