Bitdefender 2008 web antiphishing question

Does anyone knows exactly how it works? I just received a phishing email and copy/pasted the link in the browser to see if anti-phishing protection worked. Nothing happened. Tonight at home I'll test the link with KIS that's installed on gf computer but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone knew how Bitdefender antiphishing module worked.

Is it trying to analyse the webpage or simply has a blacklist?

I used it for a day and played around at dslreoprts "Phish Tracker"... I don't remember it catching much of anything.

I think antiphishing needs a lot to be improved, most of the times when i click on a link inside a web page it block it, even when it's a reliable link

 

Can you give some examples of reliable links wrongly detected as phishing?
