BitDefender 2008 Beta Test Starts

I'm using Fx and I can't see any screenies. What about all those posts with one sentence and lots of white box underneath the sentence? Tons of wasted space in that forum. I wouldn't want to use that forum as bad as it looks on Fx.

 

As you want. But relax and take a surf time as you are so lucky to leave in such paradise called "Hawaii".

Just signed for beta testing, I hope BD 2008(11) will give us a surprise(positive).

 

I really have a feeling that Bitdefender has spent the last year making some hard choices and this new product is now going to pay off for them. I have a good feeling they have done their work to lead and not follow.

Actually in just a few hours it will be the 12th there.

 

BitDefender 2008 Beta Delayed

Unfortunately due to some technical issues (blocking bugs) we have decided to postpone the beta campaign for BitDefender 2008 till June 19th, 2007 (1 week).

 

Better late and right then now and wrong.

Hello,

There is for now just BitDefender Total Security 2008 Beta 1 for Windows XP and Vista 32b edition available.

 

Downloaded it to my laptop. As soon as I saw a registry cleaner and duplicate file module, I said no no. Been down that road before.

 

yes, i think it's a bit to bloated.

 

OK, I am missing something here.
When you mention "bloated", how much is it using, and in comparision to what other suite?

The duplicate file module got to "grouping" and hung for an hour. No offense but when did Softwin become experts in this area.

 

bloated doesn't mean only resource wise, it's also reffering to useless stuff. this is a security suite, what's having the same mp3 file more times have to do with it (+ it might delete duplicated system dlls, like mfc's)

 

im too dissappointed to really go into a comment about this,

i know its a total security, but its below par.
