A bill that would require schools to actively monitor and punish piracy goes to President Bush today. If schools fail to do this, the Secretary of Education is authorized to withhold Federal funding. Once again we see anti-piracy groups forcing their hand and making others do their work for them. Universities are not happy with this, claiming it will be too time-consuming and result in higher personnel costs (which of course leads to higher tuition costs), but the anti- piracy groups are of course glowing with happiness.

All of this intellecutual property being protected and trying to prevent its pirating. Well to avoid pirating, don't share the intellectual property with the outside world. :D
