    how much for 2.ghz or more motherbord p4 with 5 pci slots and one gig of ddr ram how much you think that would cost me

    or something like that i have 500 doller limit what can i afford with motherbord with 5 pci slots or more

    then how about a quote for 1000 dollers

    OK ON THE 2 PACK ITS A
    Ultra DDR memory RIGHT

    does the Asus P4P800 Deluxe Socket 478 Motherboard with Pentium4 3.0 GHz 800MHz Processor take that kinda ram cause i see dimm

    also is the motherbord 800mhz processor or a 3 ghz processor im confused

    it sound like 800mhz?

    The processor is 3.0ghz with an 800MHZ front buss

    Hi,

    There are two completely different things:

    The speed of the processor: that is here 3 ghz
    The speed of the so-called Front Side Bus: that is here 800/533/400 MHz

    Lol, I have here the AsusWorld Issue 21 March 2004 magazine in front of me.

    I have been thinking for awhile about such a mobo.
    BTW, there are two versions:
    P4P800 Deluxe and P4P800

    If you have the money, go for the Deluxe: it gives you also FireWire

    This particular board with the p4 3.0 is running the 800mhz buss

    The board the link leads to is the deluxe, it seemed like a better deal than the standard.

    so this one has the p4 chip with hyper threading

    ok i have crapy gateway pc with 2 pci slots and 700 mhz celeron processor

    if i get the ram and this motherbord how much performance would it inprove in spoeed and like video and video encodeing or converting

    It is a bit of a job changing a motherboard but according to what you say you have now, there would be no comparison in speed to the new motherboard.moboard install info more moboard changing info
