Best software to monitor changes, backup and restore of registry

    i have never understood how take a snapshot of my registry

    how can i do it?

    is there a portable version too

    its as simple as just backing up the registry manually which is just opening regedit and the select computer, right-click and press export. as for doing this in scheduled times i have no experience so maybe do a google search ;)

    Only problem with using the regedit export and restore is that if and when you need to import and restore the registry it mixes the copy in with your present registry.
    With a specific registry back up and restore program you dont have this problem and it restores cleanly.Much like a registry image if you like.
