true.... mplayer the undoubted winner
I've tried many and GOM Player is my favorite.
OK. I will use that one for awhile, then I don't have to try so many as you did.
Have to say that I have always used Foobar (dull to look at but very light and excellent sound) for audio and VLC player for video, but have just tried Zoom Player and am extremely impressed so far. Fabulous sound, seems to play anything I throw at it and looks pretty good.
I used it a long time ago and liked it too. But it was heavy on resources. Is it still the same?
Seemed fine on my machine, I must admit. No slowdowns at all.
MPC is the BEST
OK but WHY ?
Media player classic is my fav. It does everything i need, doesn't give me any problems and its free! Plus it comes in a nice, convenient codec pack that is regularly updated.
Windows Media Player for Vista 11 (Period )
Gomplayer (Tampon !)
Its great and low weight.
I'd recommend mplayer no ui to.
Very low resources around 5 MB.
Please post your memory statistics to the http://deadlydevil.blogspot.com/2007/05/media-player-performance.html
I want to aggregate the data so that I could analyze which one is better in term of performance.
well i used both winamp and jet audio. I found that jet audio has better sound quality than winamp. thats not all, it has various amount of options while playing audio and video like video converting(not every format)mp3 cutting besides that it has options like alarm and timer to exit it or shutting down windows or hibernate, standby. So its only player i have installed no need of other player.
For new version jet audio 7 and skins, http://media-play.org.
jet audio is my universal player.
I´m using foobar2000 for audio and MPC for video. /Cerxes.
KMplayer for Video, XMplay for audio.
I don't know in terms of performance or anything, but I love and use iTunes.
This is a new media player that is new to the market you may like to try out. Please note that it is in beta
Kantaris Media Player 0.1.3 Beta
Beta? I'll be sure'n bring this to Mr.Albert's attention.
Gomplayer for video and Spider Player for audio
Its remarkable that there are so many mediaplayers out there, but only a few radiostation recorders/players,imo screamerradio one off the best and then some maybe 3 or 4 thats it.
been reading great things about JetAudio here. just one question though to those using JetAudio: Are you speaking about the JetAudio Plus, or Basic which is free?
Winamp for playlists, Windows Media Player 6.4 for audio
Never used JetAudio before, downloading it now
i use Itunes mostly, the playlist are easy.
Ok JetAudio is awesome thanks guys
