Let's do some more reflection, contemplation, winning. Let's review the best Linux distribution with the Gnome desktop environment of 2019, with focus on aesthetics, ease of use, stability, and long-term support. Enjoy. https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/best-gnome-2019.html Cheers, Mrk
Zorin 15.1 gets my vote. The bootloader can be a bit ify on drives containing other systems but otherwise it's an easy distro to set up and use with no nightmare glitches. A theme combination of 'Obscure Blue' (apps), Zorin own icons and 'Elegant Silver' or 'Ambrosia' (shell) looks great with the default wallpaper. https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1254680/ https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1272578/ https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1012999/
Hey Mrk, I haven't read your review yet but I will here shortly. Just wanted to say hi and happy holidays to you and yours. . You've always been one of my favorites here at Wilders over the years. Later...
Debian (10 Buster) gets my vote - very standard, very reliable. Centos 8 looses out not because of Centos itself, but because the 3rd party repos that I rely on for packages are still catching up.
I'm disappointed with Debian 9 and 10 as neither obey my desire to auto login. UEFI install with Secure Boot.
