    Just as the title says. I obviously prefer adware and spyware free ones too.

    I was going to suggest the Firefox extension "ForecastFox", but then saw your avatar :D Next to that I like the docklet in Stardock's ObjectDock. It's freeware, and does a lot more than just tell the weather, it's a Mac-like toolbar that zooms in on the icons when you mouse over them. Great program.. I was actually compelled to buy the paid version :)

    Well, yes, the Firefox Xtension Forecastfox Enhanced Radar Edition v0.8.2.4
    is a very nice little tool. Comes with a much better radar graphic than
    the ordinary version.

    Preferences in the options panel:
    * Choice of radar, satellite, or combination of both.
    * Still or animated
    * 400x300 or 640x480 image
    * Custom URL

    ======

    I also use MetarWeather v1.44 from NIR Software. It only downloads
    Metar data, this is all I need most of the time, and it shows results in a
    simple table. Results can be saved to a text or html file. No install needed
    and like all NIR utes it is tiny - 140kb

    I'v also just installed Weather Watcher but not fired it up yet.

    Cheers for the other suggestions :)

    I second weatherpulse. It's spyware/adware free.

    Weather Watcher has 2 version, one with ads and one without ads. Just thought I let everyone know.
