I also found Prevx1r to run heavy on my system. I am now running (60 day trial) of the official release, and the slowdown has completely disappeared. I should add that I generally do not run beta, or in this case reseach versions of security software, because of my lack of computor expertise.

I suppose its depending of what kind of user you are.

I personally do not download and test a lot of unknown software.

I am an ordinary surfer and PC-user.

So below you see my setup with two HIPS. At present I will have no yearly updatecosts for AV,AT or HIPS. Thats totally what I want; very low costs - very high level of protection.

Before I installed my HIPS I scanned with all what Ive got incl HiJackThis + took help to evaluate HJT log - to establish that I seemed to be clean.

    Best Regards

I'm using Prevx1R. I like the features it offers and the different modes of operation. I am also considering running Cyberhawk soon as well.

I've tried several programs, but I find Prevx1r the least intrusive and yet the most secure with its community feedback program. I know that it stops virtually every leaktest out there right now.;)

I will prefer PG or AntiHook( with some drawbacks if I can stand with).
