    Re: Blue screen errors

I have had a bsod bad_pool_caller two days ago if i reboot the pc
after installing Nod32 v3 over v2.70. Since I tried V3 not the first time I noticed that before I got the bsod the icon of V3 was not in the task-list near the clock after installing. The other times were after the installation
before rebooting the pc without bsod both icons (v2.7 and V3) in the task-list.
After this I got my image with v2.7 back, installed v3, got two icons before rebooting and no bsod. So I think there must be a problem with the installation of v3. But as I wrote only one time.
I dont remember a bsod before on my machine, xp sp3.

sorry, this is not for ESS, this is for Eset nod32.

    Hello joalfred,

Personalized settings from ESET NOD32 v2.7 can cause this in v3. Reversing your steps can correct this.

    1. Uninstall ESET NOD32 3.0.

    2. Reinstall ESET NOD32 2.7 to restore the full version.

    3. Uninstall ESET NOD32 2.7.

    4. Reinstall ESET NOD32 3.0.

This will give you v3 of the product with default settings and from there you can personalize NOD32 to fit your needs.

    Thank you,
    Rmuffler
