How about some information on what you are backing up to (partition on same drive, different internal drive, external USB or Firewire drive). I see references to 6 partitions in your original message. What operating system? What hardware? Where did the check image validation fail?

    Hello playivorys,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We do apologize for the delayed response.

Could you please clarify whether Acronis True Image 9.0 creates corrupt backups running in rescue mode or in Windows?
Please tell us where you store your image files.

Please create Acronis Report as it is described in Acronis Help Post and submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread.

Please note that it's impossible to mount a file backup as a virtual drive. However, you can use Recovery tool to restore needed files or folders from your file backup. Please take a look at this FAQ.

    Thank you.
