25+ seconds is pretty slow. Mine averages 12-18 seconds without Avira. Avira seems to pull the reboot up to 2-3 MINUTES. Once it was removed, problem stopped. This is a longstanding, well known issue with Avira that's been discussed for quite some time. Nothing new, and nothing uncommon.
Mr Witteveen I have a question about the Avira System Speedup what is the future development or planing of this products sometime it have some comparities issues with windows 8.1 (1.Adnormal Cpu usage when the gui stay at the top for long time, 2.it will got an error when you mouse hover in the item which is runing the disk cleanup processing) 3.Will this products provide Asian language such as Chinese traditional
For the browser security Just install and take a look i would say what the h _ _ _ they bring back the ASK as safe search use google is not good search engine? How can you compare the ask search item can beat google less informative and not useful in asian Bring back google,no ASK!

I had installed it on my chrome since it was introduce already past build it use google but today when I doing a reinstall the browser security they bring back their ask(rebrand) instead of google you will see you are being redirect to search.avira.com instead of google.com that why I'm getting angry about it Just test yourself remove your current browser security,and reinstall it and doing their safe search,you will be suprise!

Disable safe search in ABS and install WOT. ABS is still good for catching malicious links that are clicked. All that you are losing is color codes in search results, for which WOT is a perfect replacement.
Yes I have been using WOT at past it was great products however I don't want to install more extension to block tracker,web site rating.... (because i have many extension on my chrome already) I don't know why they choose ask replace google as their safe search feature Google is not good,which hoxx shxx user think about to keep the ask
I just tried the new beta and yes they did change the default search to ASK. But still you can use google search and get color codes. One thing to note is that color codes work only on https://www.google.com but not on https://encrypted.google.com
My license is valid until October, I wonder if I renew now for a year, would that be counted from October? Anyone knows for sure? Thanks
It would be one year added on from the date of expiry. At least that was the case when I ordered directly from Avira last time.

With Chrome I was unable to proceed to check out as the tab was overlapped by other links from the Avira page (see attachment) I had to switch to IE for the tab to function, and something new to be aware of is the "Automatic Renewal" which will be presumably activated if one doesn't click to change it to manual. I personally don't like these automatic renewals.
