My son, who uses another A suite and does not like the new version, was looking for a change on his laptop.
    I suggested the Avira Suite.
He went to their site and looked, and looked and looked and finally gave up.
I tried to find it for him but with no luck also.
Doesn't Avira believe in trials for home users outside of some specials posted here once in a while?
If one is available, why don't the show it in plain site as other av sites do?
Anyone else here have this problem?
I can't see this as being smart business.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dan

    You mean this

~~ link to limit license offer removed per this policy.

That was not the trial package download page. It was an offer for Computer Active subscribers only. ~~

Nah he's looking for a trial of the suite not for a free av license. I believe you need to request it in their forum? Been a while since i went there.

Yes, it was the suite and now that you mention it, I believe I did read that somewhere else before about requesting a license for a trial.
Personally, maybe I'm just getting cranky, it should just be in plain site.
Not requesting some secret document that I have to find and ask permission to use.
Using the av preminum I originally obtained on this site and plan on keeping it for a long time.
However, if I had to don my Sherlock Holmes garb originally to find it, there'd probably be something else running now in it's place. :)

I contacted Patrick Veit in their forums. He sent me a trial key and linky to do a download in less than a day. Currently running the suite and its running sweet so far (yuk-yuk-yuk)...:thumb: :D
