Avira on-access settings

    I use avira free and I was changing the on-access settings for the types of files scanned. Just to test, I removed everything from the file extension list and clicked ok. However, the "last file scanned" indicator was still scanning files. Is this a bug? People should test this out, unless they have a custom list. I just use smart extensions now, but I have suspicions there is no difference between the three settings.
