People can talk and speculate all they want. Means nothing. Avira still has great protection and all this talk on all the forums has quite frankly become boring.

People are free to have their own opinion. Just because you don't agree doesn't mean there aren't valid concerns.

Ok. Detection is still good. Avira is still here. The ask toolbar has been done by many other vendors. What is the big issue?

There was a thread with a big long discussion about it. Read that as I'm not going to debate it anymore. Everything you need to know is in that thread.

I have seen it. The issues are as you say opinions. Nothing more to debate as there was never nothing except opinions. I am done with this nonsense!

No nonsense here. There are valid concerns raised with this. I use Avira but I'm not so blind a fanboy that I can't call them out on something when they deserve it.

I'm sure Avira can get a bailout package as well, if that will be needed..:p :D

Though i'm sure that if we reach that low-level they are more likely to get bought by a bigger AV player.
(Wich might be the best that could happen at this stage so they can get their management issues solved) Since they got some nice technology in the house after all :thumb:
