AVG Technologies acquire Norman Safeground

    I guess AVG didn't really get any technology with this acquisition, making it a move solely intended to enhance their market presence and sales in Nordic regions and Benelux:

    Wouldn't AVG be interested in Norman's antimalware/sandbox technology? I though they might also like Norman for its online backup. But Norman actually just clones that from Jotta.

    ^Norman Safeground did not own/develop the sandbox, it was the other company.

    I know, or I will say, that AVG has some big plans for the 4th quarter.

    Interesting. Years ago, I played around with Norman to try it out.

    I admit, I forgot they existed.
