    Hello,
    As far as I know:
Clam and BitDefender Free do not have real-time scanners.
Therefore, my question is, can they be run alongside AVG or Kaspersky?
Now, I think the answer is yes, but let me elaborate:
Both Clam and BitDefender sit in the systray by default.
Does this mean they are active or merely resident for speed and convenience?
Does this mean they will run their scheduled scans / updates only if the systray processes are active?
What would happen if let's say KAV and ClamAV ran an on-demand scheduled scan at the same time?
Does anyone have experience with multiple on-demands?
I would like a truly first-hand experience rather than educated guess, which is what I currently have...:)
    Mrk

if your going to do a scan with your on-deman scanner i recommened completely turning off your real time scanner for active antivirus..conflicts or false positive may occur.

I use KAV Personal 5 and BitDefender Free together on the same machine, no problems :)

USA still the best. But barely.
Potentially system lockup or worse or maybe nothing. If you decide to try (I wouldn't). Let us know.
