I have not been able to delete/remove this cookie.Whenever i start IE 8 AVG flags it. I cant find it.Scanned with AVG,Hitman Pro,Super Antispyware and Malwarebytes and every thing is clean.
I am not using IE 8 anymore because i feel my security can be compromised. I was using MSE beta 2.xx a few days back. ... just moved to AVG. How do i find and remove it o_O AVG just flags it every time but the scan comes out clean. Thank you :)
AND yes i have cleaned the browser, ccleaner and Ace Utilities multiple times.

Only other addon i use with IE 8 is SimpleAdblock. Even in Safe Mode AVG flags it ...could it be related to MSE browser protection hookup?(that is, if there is any). Would it be wise to reinstall windowso_O

    Re: Cookie problem

For IE 7 and up block first and third party cookies Add *. wildcard entries for sites that you emplicitly trust to your Trusted Sites Zone, *.microsoft.com is required for purposes of successfully running Windows Update without issue. You may clear your Browser cache at any time to flush these compiled cookies.

In my experience and this is no slight to your chosen security software, AVG's resident shield, causes issues with a correctly secured Browser

You may still ... discuss as to why your security product is giving issues with the particular cookie issue, report it to the vendor or discuss with your peers in the support board for the software.

    Re: Cookie problem

I did clear my Browser cache multiple times as well as used ccleaner and Ace Utilities and already have Microsoft.com and live.com added as trusted but the Problem remains unsolved.... some other people are also facing the same problem with AVG and the particular cookie (looking at the link provided by Cudni). I get a popup as soon as i Open IE.Searching via Google it seems that AVG link scanner is not playing nice with IE 8 and MSE .
