Avg 8.0 free version

Says I have to delete Ewido before I can finish and use Avg 8.0.
It says their spyware is build in 8.0
I don't want to delete Ewido. Any way around this?

 

Try installing avg first... or use other AV

 

Ewido became AVGAS a few years ago, and AVGAS is only allowing definition updates thru the end of this year. AVGAS is now incorporated into the AVG 8.0 free and paid versions. I see no reason to use the old Ewido at this point in time.

It will do what Ewido is doing now?

What about SE Adaware? Will it make me delete it next?

no it wont affect se adaware.
avg8.0 will do what ewido is doing now.
