OK, I'm trialing AVG 7.5 Anti-malware and in the WinXP SP2 Event Manager I'm seeing some application errors.

This one causes the ControlCenter to crash:
Faulting application avgcc.exe, version 7.5.0.418, faulting module wblind.dll, version 5.0.0.2, fault address 0x0005bdad.

Appears to be an issue with Windowblinds - I will try to 'exclude' the dll and see if the ControlCenter still crashes after or during a scan.

    Also see these:
    2006-12-20 00:58:08,359 HOME-522ECB4670 [002752:002708] ERROR 000 AVG7.CC.plugins.CPluginManager plugin {491A5625-1E72-4BD9-B454-299127582DA5} action 302 running failed: The specified module could not be found. (126)

The Action code varies, but the rest is the same. I've sent in a problem report to Grisoft - will see if they respond.

Anyone else using this seeing any issues?

    Thanks

I found it was the e-mail plug-in for Outlook 2000 that was creating the error logs. Problem solved: removed AVG

I see you removed AVG. I bought it so I could have it run in the background. It updates its definitions a few times a day, and does a nice job.
