    I don't like the general look of the Win8 metro gui, but I think AVG did a very good job with their new gui. I like it.

    It would be cool if they included the "online shield" with the free version. Many of their competitors now offer similar components in their free versions.

    I know with past betas, if you entered a fee key, the beta would install as the free version. I may try that, but have not had time to download and start to install the free version to get a key yet.

    odd thing i tried entering my paid key into the beta and it would no longer open. i could click and click and nothing...

    just try a free key from AVG 2012 and it stated invaild key. no go. rats lol

    i had a hell of a time uninstalling it. it failed to. i have to use revo to help get rid of it. but its the first beta.

    the second beta has been released for 2013.

    check the AVG Beta website for change log, not sure if I can post it here or not. but they did fix alot.

    Nice!!! simple for a change., very light to i think pc runs better than with Antivir free on it weird.
