this is completely false. You probably went through a dirty uninstall process that preserved your ini file(s). In most cases they're deleted and you don't get them back from the cloud :D (I mean there's no such thing as an avast cloud preserving anything:rolleyes: )

edit: seeing now that you posted that wasn't serious...that's called back pedaling;)

you are totally incorrect ravi. the settings are left on your computer after you use the uninstall utility you must delete the PROGRAM DATA folder "alwil" and also some cases a folder called alwil under program files program files. the uninstaller does not remove that directory and your settings will go back to default after you delete the extra leftovers. your settings are NOT IN ANY WAY stored in the cloud

I swear, I will never ever post anything remotely sarcastic and/or funny here. You too thought that was serious? Lord help us all. Passions really do run high here. No surprise though, given you current avatar. Oh wait, I should remove the word current from this sentence. The phrase 'current avatar' gains its true meaning only when paired with the word trjam.

Let's be honest here, this forum is full of paranoid nerds sitting around worrying about their current solution detecting 0.000001% less than the next guy's solution of 17 layers. Humor never really had a place here...

    +1

That quote was at least 0.000001% more humorous than the previous funniest post I read in this forum.
