    Hi guys,

I have been looking into purchasing Avast for a school and we want to install the program on Laptop's which students use but also take away on holidays with them. At the end of the year they are away from the school for 2 months approx.

According to Avast after 21 days of not talking to the server it stops the program from working entirely (no updates, scanning etc.) In the new version 5.1 is this going to be the same? I ask, because this is the only reason we cannot purchase the product as we want students to have virus protection always.

We'd prefer this version of Avast so we can push updates out to laptops and we require the reporting sides of things to keep track of who is getting virus's etc.

If anyone has any ideas or other suggestions on what we can do about this that would be good. Thanks.

The new version 5.1 won't have the 21-day limitation anymore.

    Thanks
