I'm currently using Cookie Auto Decline: https://github.com/JobcenterTycoon/cookie-auto-decline
It's not perfect, but it does a pretty good job and works MUCH better than I still don't care about cookies, which is more or less AI-/Bot-based these days without getting rid of cookie notifications on lots of websites.

    Thanks, Buddel.
I have Cookie auto decline in my options list, as well as Consent-O-Matic. I haven't yet tried these options.
For now, I still use "I still don't care about cookies" plus both the EasyList and uBlock Cookie Notices filter lists in uBlock Origin. It works for most websites, except a few.

I also tried Consent-O-Matic, but I found it sort of useless. And yes, I also use EasyList and uBlock Cookie Notices filter lists in uBlock Origin, both of which do a pretty good job.

    Thanks, Buddel.
If I'm not mistaken, I read more rather disappointing reviews.

working like charm here. the most important point is, that users forget not to use more than one consent filter, dont forget your ad blocker, then consent-o-matic is not working in most cases because the entry is not found. important - you can send a message to authors that c-o-m is not working as expected.
for me i am able to blank consent dialogs as they are not needed, have no impact, its just a reminder that cookies are set.

    Thanks, Quassar.
With Cookie AutoDelete, when a tab closes, any cookies not being used are automatically deleted.
But can it automatically handle cookie banners, GDPR consent forms, as is done by 'I still don't care about cookies,' 'Cookie auto decline,' and Consent-O-Matic?

CAD can delete cookies on closing tabs. but do not resolve consent dialogs.
and means "cookies only", not storage. currently, my knowledge, there exist no extension to handle firefox storage. same for chromium based.

for cookie consent, ublock is able to remove a small amount of known dialogs, but this means that consent extension are not able to work on this dialog, they must fail. thats same as using two ad blockers which disable vice versa as gorhill wrote years ago.

there exist no clue which extension works best for a user. you may have fortune with IDCAC, or not. i never used it. using adguard that list is disabled. and firefox has no longer the ability to fight consent dialogs, this feature was deprecated versions ago.

Thanks, I had forgotten about that feature. It was in the Firefox Nightly Channel for some time, and perhaps the Beta Channel, but I think it never made it to the Firefox Stable releases.

OK I see, so actually both extensions were not being developed anymore. Quite a crappy move from Avast.

But like I said, uBlock Origin already does the job, and when websites don't load correctly, I simply enable inline scripts, like on the iexprofs.nl website. And another advantage is that I eliminated yet another extension which in theory can be a privacy/security risk.

you are welcome, i read it from Sören Hentzschel because i was not aware of - switches in about : config are useless.
ublock is no meter of consent dialog, it never was. it's list based, while consent-o-matic uses more than a list, it has the ability to recognize such consent.
removing consent dialogs have luck in some or ost cases, i know about. but some dialogs are very important to see images or videos. no consent, nothing of it, blank.
but who cares about the simple view about vivaldi or ublock? and always need solutions with this comboo_O
