They removed it because it was outdated and even though they've submitted the latest version, Mozilla was still verifying it. Whic is just toooooooo slow.

Hi, your link does not appear to be working any chance you can fix it? I haven't used Avast for about 5 years but I recently installed it so I would like to see your tutorial, Thanks.

Unfortunately it still doesn't work for me, I get a connection time out in both Firefox and IE. Thanks for trying anyway.

Odd, I can open it right up. Try going to my homepage first www.drtweak.com then forum - security and malware and it will be at the top of the forum.

I'm liking this release. From what I'm seeing in the Avast forum, this release seems pretty stable. A few problems mentioned there, but it's running well on my Windows 8.1 laptop. I had Webroot AV running, and of course closed it down after installing Avast Free, but so far I see no difference in speed or browsing in comparison.

Boy you guys are a tough crowd. I understand the fear everyone has of an A vs B thread developing, but I thought at least a few Avast users would comment. I miss the good old days in the mid 2000's when there was more fun and camaraderie here. You know, when I was the user known as....?

I wish it was as light as it used to be...seems slower than some of the larger products when it comes to routine browsing. It's one of my sentimental favorites...maybe in time.

Good Evening! Just re-installed the latest version...and very pleased with it's performance. Mind you the only add-on was Safe Zone...no other additives or preservatives...or MSG...low in Sodium...and Trans Fats...Lol! Shields engaged Scotty thrusters on, set into Warp Drive...Lol! Sincerely...Securon
