Seems about right. Looks like Bitdefender has been working on making it lighter. I thought Qihoo was supposed to be light though?

AV-Test gave it a rating of 3 for performance or 4.5/6 which doesn't match the result?

F-Secure and Kaspersky look to be the best here.

Strange. Qihoo 360 didn't felt heavy even on my weak E-450 laptop. Where Kaspersky that is supposedly among the lightest felt really heavy.

I really have a hard time believing these results. Kingsoft the heaviest?!? 7 AVs, including traditionally heavy ones like Kaspersky, Bitdefender, F-Secure, Sophos, etc are lighter than just running win defender?

I like to see the detailed test results before I believe this.

I can vouch for Kaspersky being light now...certainly lighter than 6-7 moths ago. F Secure as well...I like Avast but it just slower than the past.

Doesn't ESET load into the RAM?

Yes , I dont know what kind of "magic" Kaspersky guys did with patchs , but now it is really light and unobtrusive.
