OK, so VIPRE, Win Defender and Norton seem to produce quite a lot of false positives. I thought Win Def was improved when it came to this?
I use VIPRE, never had a single FP, just saying, the user experience is different than these synthetic tests. I like VIPRE more than any AV because it doesn't have an HTTP scanner to slow down my browsing yet is very secure in terms of detecting malware. Just recently had an issue with ESET NOD32 which I reported on their forum and they did get it fixed but I don't want to sit there and be wondering if my internet speed is slower because of ESET or not, the issue was with a couple of file sharing sites, due to the ESET HTTP filtering protocol the upload was failinlg.
