AV-C On-Demand detection of Emsisoft Antimalware released

    How are we to know that some of the false positives were actually some not some PUAs, that some vendors list as malware and some may not? You don't really show in your reports. MRG made a quite interesting test about PUAs and the line between a real PUA and a somewhat annoying PUA (but considered 'clean') is extremely thin.

    FPs are determined by the CLEAN set, not the malware set.

    But what does the so called 'clean' set consist of? PUAs? I haven't seen the test files.

    FP is my main concern when I decide to buy emsisoft
    But after some trial with EEK
    I never encounter any false potive on daily normal usage
    Sometimes BB will pop for some game who emulate keystrokes
    But other than that... All are smooth :D

    Same here. Very, very few FP's and mostly during testing of new DefenseWall beta versions.
