    Hello
    Is therre a way that the computer can make a backup without my help?

    Possibility?

    1. Computer starts with the POWER-ON function of BIOS
    2. Computer waits at the windows registration
    3. TI9 starts making a backup (Time can be changed in the task settings)
    4. Computer shuts down after the backup

    Does it work anyhow?

    Hello Snoggi,

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    Everything should work fine according to your plan:

    1. Use the POWER-ON capability of your BIOS to turn on your PC at the desired point in time;
    2. Computer can "wait" at the logon screen, since it is not needed to be logged in in order to run a scheduled task (you have already entered your user name and password);
    3. Acronis True Image starts making a backup. No comments here :)
    4. Computer shuts down after the backup. You can use a special batch file, which will turn off your PC as a post command (see section 4.3.3 of Acronis True Image 9.0 User's Guide).

    Thank you.
