Fellow creatures of the Wilders Forest,
My system has been making Restore Points regularly daily. However none have been created since I made a manual one on sept. 17. (Firefox Download).

I did a search on this thread and Primrose remarked on this recently. Spoke about Task Scheduler even though it did not appear, in task scheduler. Hmmm. I do not need one daily anyway. I decided to set it up in task scheduler for once a week middle of the night. I just did a manual one so it does work . Oh and my System Properties Restore point off box is clear so it is not that. Will this work? why did it suddenly stop doing it daily? Any thoughts on this? Thanks. :doubt:

Hey Mercurie, I recently went through a thread about this where BigC threw up some solutions. I'm not sure if it's the same problem you're encountering, I'm having a hard time finding it. Temp memory outtage... :D

    Two quick pages on it,

    http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_restore.htm

    http://www.experts-exchange.com/Operating_Systems/WinXP/Q_21043688.html

Another thought, if you have xp pro,

    http://www.theeldergeek.com/re-enable_system_restore.htm.

If not, maybe check the amount of space you have allocated to it in properties,
as I know sometimes this can be an issue.
