   I need a program to convert wav files, and mp2 files into mp3's, is there any free ones available?

   dear Comp01, there are lots and loads of them. you can use Audiograbber, Winamp, CDex, Musicmatch and lot more but i'll suggest Musicmatch. the second choice should be Audiograbber. well for MP3 compression use the latest john33 compiled LAME encoder.
